Regional Sales Director Broadcast & Media for Latin America

Your tasks:
  • Manage the sales and marketing of our broadcast and media business in Latin America
  • Overviewing and monitoring of sales activities and sales performance, as well as overviewing and reporting of market trends
  • Leading a group of sales managers and pre-sales engineers
  • Defining the sales / sales support structure in the region in cooperation with the regional and local subsidiaries and offices
  • Organizing cross-country sales/project support in cooperation with the regional and local subsidiaries and offices
  • Responsible for reporting and forecast – combining and consolidating reports / forecasts from different countries
  • Sales responsibility for countries with not R&S office or no dedicated sales resources for BCM and provide regular updates to management on progress of effort in Regional Headquarters and Munich
  • Management and support of other sales channels, partners and VAR’s
  • Defining and tracking objectives in cooperation with the sales organization in the region; preparing market forecasts to determine the sales strategy
  • Overviewing and reporting of market trends
  • Planning and execution of regional marketing activities and exhibitions in cooperation with the regional and local offices
  • Plan, execute and measure demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for the broadcast sales organization
  • Defining the sales basket for the market segment in the Region
  • Defining/setting priorities for sales activities and technical support
Your qualifications:
  • Experience in the field of broadcast & media
  • Strong negotiating skills and assertiveness
  • Ability to operate at a strategic and tactical level and used to work in a structured and systematic way
  • Team player with strong customer orientation
  • Target oriented
  • Good communications skills
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish in negotiation scenarios
  • Familiarity with ordering processes, bidding procedures and potential market assessment is necessary
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
