Intern (m/f)

Your tasks:
  • Implementation of algorithms and receiver techniques of SATCOM modems
  • Analyzing use cases and functional requirements together with product marketing and customers
  • Algorithm implementation in MATLAB with strong focus on further FPGA/GPU implementations (digital signal processing, FEC)
  • Implementation and Verification of firmware modules of FPGA (Verilog/VHDL) or GPU (CUDA)
  • Cooperation with distributed software development teams in Dresden, Munich and other sites
Your qualifications:
  • Academic studies in (technical) computer science, electrical engineering or comparable field of studies
  • Profound knowledge of Matlab, C, C++, CUDA, VHDL/Verilog
  • Knowledge of GIT, HDL simulation (e.g. Modelsim, Aldec Riviera)
  • Satcom knowledge (DVB-S/S2 modulation, MF-TDMA systems, link budget analysis)
  • FPGA expertise (Intel/Altera or Xilinx)
  • Understanding of digital signal processing with strong focus on wireless communications
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
