As a Systems Sales Specialist, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Products include turn-key EMI/EMC systems, Over the Air Test Systems and Antenna Test Systems. You would also be responsible for selling Broadband Amplifiers, Compliance and Pre-compliance EMI Receivers, System Software and Chambers. We are currently looking for an Systems Sales Specialist to support the Central United States. The Sales Specialist ideally will reside in Chicago, Detroit or Dallas.

Systems Sales Specailist

Your tasks:
  • Present and sell Rohde & Schwarz systems for EMC, OTA and Antenna Test
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz solutions can meet their business needs.
  • Creating new business opportunities and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Grow the territory and exceed quota.
  • Build and manage a strong sales funnel.
  • Work closely with all resources to insure we are successful in closing business and creating success in our systems business
  • Provide input and feedback to product marketing, our systems organization, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements.
Your qualifications:
  • BSEE (or equivalent)
  • Five+ years of technical system selling experience for large capital expenditures
  • An understanding of current electronic industry technologies and standards (EMI/EMC, Over the air testing and Antenna Test is a plus)
  • The ideal candidates will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills.
  • Greater than 50% travel is required
