Desktop Support Specialist III

Your tasks:
  • Configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software
  • Administer and maintain security of operating systems
  • Provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices
  • Perform recovery procedures, scheduling and back-ups and monitors batch processes
  • Provide technical support to the organization's internal users of computer applications and hardware (e.g. PCs, servers, mainframes)
  • Answer questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures
  • Collaborate with network services, software systems engineering and/or application development in order to restore service and/or identify problems
Your qualifications:
  • 8 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years demonstrated success working as part of an IT Service Desk teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience working as part of a global IT Service Desk team in Europe, Asia and Americas.
  • Experienced with Service Level Attainment, and producing Service Desk and Call metrics to achieve Service Level Objectives.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and fostering customer relationships and support escalation.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and preferably Spanish
  • Excellent customer interface skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
