Thesis (m/w) Channel access in wireless communication networks

Your tasks:
  • Thesis in the context of a software defined radio waveform development project
  • Develop an algorithm to improve the channel access behavior of the waveform by adapting to current network conditions (load, number of neighbors, etc.)
  • Evaluation criteria include the signaling overhead, delay, throughput on the wireless channel
  • Implement the developed concept in C/C++ and evaluate it in a Python based test/simulation framework
Your qualifications:
  • University degree in electrical engineering,computer science or informatics
  • Knowledge of communications protocols
  • Basic Knowledge in communications systems theory
  • Knowledge in software development
  • Good Knowledge of written and spoken English
